About Me
I grew up in New England before moving west to attend college and start my career as a professional skier. For ten years I worked as a skier competing in events like the X Games and starring in films produced Warren Miller Entertainment and Teton Gravity Research. During this time I also started a non-profit organization focused on giving back to underserved communities in the Peruvian and Chilean Andes. I then shifted focus to medicine with a specific interest in orthopaedics. I began orthopaedic research with the University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics in 2014 before attending medical school here and finally earning a residency position. I live nearby the university with my wife and daughter.
