Tyler is from Reno, Nevada and received his B.S. in Biology at the University of Nevada Reno in 2016 with a minor in Community Health Science. He is currently in medical school at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine and is expected to graduate in 2024. Tyler joined the Orthopaedic Research Group working with Amy Lenz, PhD. during the summer of 2021. He hoped to learn more about orthopaedic research practices and an engineer’s perspective to medical issues. During his off time, he enjoys computer gaming, wakeboarding and laughing at his pet African grey parrot.
