Bradeigh Godfrey Residency Associate Director Message

Bradeigh Godfrey, DO Residency Associate Director Message

As one of the associate program directors for the University of Utah PM&R Residency program, my role is to support the residency program and the educational mission for our department. Because I practice at the VA, I serve as liaison between the residency program and the VA PM&R faculty. My clinical practice includes electrodiagnostic medicine, amputee rehab, spasticity management, ALS, and other outpatient neurorehab. I believe strongly in maintaining an inclusive and supportive training environment for our residents where they can pursue their unique goals as future physiatrists. As program leadership, we strive to be responsive to resident concerns and are committed to continuously improving our program. I also run our didactic program, coordinating excellent speakers from our department and other subject area experts to prepare our residents for clinical practice and board exams. I am passionate about teaching in both the clinical and didactic setting and I believe that residents should be involved in directing their own learning. I consider the residents of this program to be my friends and colleagues, and my favorite part of my job is supporting their development into the next generation of PM&R leaders. I hope you consider applying to the University of Utah. If I can answer any questions, please feel free to email me at Bradeigh.Godfrey@va.gov.
