Residency Director Message
Thank you for your interest in the PM&R Residency Training Program at the University of Utah.
Our program has been in existence for more than 51 years, graduating over 100 residents. The PM&R Residency Training Program is both well established and dynamic. The program is dedicated to training qualified, caring clinicians, as well as future leaders in the field of PM&R. The Division of PM&R at the University of Utah is comprised of 26 physician faculty and three PhD faculty who are each dedicated to providing high quality resident teaching in their area of expertise. The division is currently in a phase of growth, which will provide additional advanced clinical training and research opportunities. Close faculty and resident interactions and a supportive learning environment promote the development of confidence, autonomy and compassion in the resident physician. Graduates of the program are well prepared for board certification and clinical practice.
Thank you for your interest in our training program. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions.
Sincerely,Pamela Hansen, MD
