Devon Langston , MD

About Me

I was born and raised in Toledo, OH, where I learned the difficulties of defining a state identity thanks to the Great Toledo War and Big 10 sports. I attended Loyola University, Chicago for undergrad and before medical school I worked in medical research and education at Rush University Medical College and Northwestern University. I received my medical education from The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Medical Areas of Interest

DEI in Medical Education and Leadership, Improving access to underserved communities, Trauma/Reconstructive Urology, Gender Affirming Care, but I love it all!

Interests & Hobbies

Baking, running, hiking, biking, language learning, and spending time with 12-year-old pup, Bishop.

Why Utah?

I wanted to attend a program with incredible surgical training that spans not only the breadth of Urologic care, but also patient populations. Additionally, I wanted a program with a welcoming environment and resident culture. Having spent my life living in the Midwest, I was looking for a program that has exposure to incredible scenery (behind the hospital windows) and remained affordable. The Utes checked all the boxes.
