Dr. Henning De May is from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He graduated from University of New Mexico School of Medicine and has his undergraduate degree from University of Colorado, Boulder.
Medical Areas of Interest
Dr. De May is interested in craniofacial and reconstructive plastic surgery, microsurgery, and composite tissue transplantation. He also has research interests in tissue-specific immunity and tissue rejection.
Interests & Hobbies
Dr. De May enjoys running on Utah’s vast trail systems, as well as skiing, white water kayaking, sailing, sketching, and tending a small collection of orchids.

In deciding on a residency program, Dr. De May was drawn to the University of Utah for its positive and supportive culture, by the breath of surgical training, and for the possibility of resident involvement in cutting-edge research. The fact that Utah offers some of the most stunning outdoor access around was a bonus.
