  • About Me

    Matt grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Columbia University where he was a member and captain of the Men’s Swimming and Diving team. He then earned his MD at Yale University School of Medicine. While at Yale he pursued interests in healthcare entrepreneurship and music/acting. He discovered a passion for Urology in medical school, as he was excited about the opportunity to utilize a combination of technology and manual skill to better the lives of his patients.

    Why Utah?

    Matt chose Utah because of the opportunity to work in a high volume surgical center where all specialties of Urology are represented. He is excited to be able to enjoy the outdoors while not in the hospital. Finally, he enjoys the collaborative environment between residents and faculty.
