Dr. Ricki Chen is from Buffalo, New York. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Canisius University and earned her medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine.

Why Utah?
I was drawn to the University of Utah not only for its strength in clinical exposure and training in every discipline of plastic surgery, but also because of the incredible sense of camaraderie among the faculty and residents. Everyone genuinely supports and respects each other, which creates such a positive learning environment. I strongly believe that any surgeon coming out of this program will have received some of the best training that can be offered.
