  • About Me

I grew up in Connecticut before heading to Colorado College in Colorado Springs.  In the pursuit of my liberal arts education in Environmental Policy I honed my skiing, biking and boating skills and embarked on a career in the outdoor industry where I was a raft guide, worked in wilderness therapy and taught kayaking. I eventually found myself in Nicaragua while working for a health non-profit and deciding to pursue medicine, leading me to a Post-Bacc at Bryn Mawr College before heading to the University of Utah for medical school.

    Medical Areas of Interest

Coming into residency I was most interested in men's health/ infertility. However, these days I mostly get excited about whichever case I'm doing next!

    Interests & Hobbies

Skiing, biking, rafting, gardening, various home improvement projects, bowling, playing fetch

    Why Utah?

I love it here. Salt Lake is a wonderful place to live with unmatched access to so many great activates (being 30 minutes from the ski hill is pretty nice). The city is cool and has all sorts of stuff going on. From a training standpoint, the program here provides amazing and varied operative experience, great faculty, and opportunities to train in very different environments including a VA, a cancer hospital and a children's hospital.
