Claire Tinkler is pursuing her MD at the University of Louisville School of Medicine as a member of the Class of 2028. She graduated from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Spanish. Her study abroad and clinical externship experiences through Centre sparked her interest in addressing healthcare inequities both in her local community and globally. She is passionate about empowering underserved populations and currently serves as the Healthcare Intern at Kentucky Refugee Ministries, as well as a Phi Delta Epsilon mentor for aspiring medical students. Outside of her academic and clinical pursuits, she enjoys trying local restaurants with friends, reading new books, and running through Cherokee Park.
