Nyla Outlaw, originally from Flint, Michigan, is a dedicated medical student at Howard University College of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spelman College and went on to complete her Master of Science in Basic Medical Sciences at Wayne State University in December 2023. At Howard, Nyla is an active member of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and the Anesthesia Interest Society, and she also supports admissions events for the College of Medicine. Deeply passionate about mentorship and service, Nyla strives to uplift those around her through meaningful connections and community engagement. A proud Michigander, she remains a loyal fan of all Detroit sports teams—win or lose.
