Drs. Kuck and Pace's MPOG Study on Prolonged Post-Op Opioid Use and Pain featured on Anesthesiology cover.
A Utah-led MPOG study on Pre-Operative Risk Factors for Prolonged Post-Operative Opioid Use and Pain was featured on the cover of the May issue of Anesthesiology. It was accompanied by an editorial, infographic, visual abstract, and podcast. The study was the result of a collaboration with 11 sites in the U.S. and Europe and almost 40 authors, collaborators, and acknowledged contributors. It was led by Anesthesiology faculty Drs. Kai Kuck and Nathan Pace, with key authors Ken Johnson and Ami Stuart and a number of faculty and staff acknowledged for their contributions.
