Education & Training Programs

Welcome to the Department of Psychiatry's training and education programs.

RESIDENCIES

The Department of Psychiatry supports three residency programs:

Within the General Psychiatry Residency program, there are opportunies for both specialized tracks, which require a formal application process, and elective tracks, which can be pursued without an application process:

FELLOWSHIPS

We offer subspecialty training after residency, including a one-year fellowship in addiction medicine, a one-year fellowship in addiction psychiatry, and a two-year child and adolescent psychiatry training program.

GRAND ROUNDS

The Department of Psychiatry has a rich grand rounds tradition, educating medical professionals on both common and complex mental health issues. Our series regularly presents local and nationally-renowned clinicians and researchers, who help train our faculty, residents, fellows, and community physicians. Attend the Grand Rounds lectures live (typically on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month) or watch archived presentations.
