Geoffrey Tabin, M.D. is Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, John E. and Marva M. Warnock Presidential Endowed Chair, and Co-Director of the Division of International Ophthalmology at the University of Utah’s John A. Moran Eye Center. He specializes in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Black received his MD degree from the U of U in 1974. He then did an internship and residency in surgery at both the U and Duke, finishing with a fellowship in pediatric surgery at Children’s Hospital of Cincinnati. Charles W. Sorenson, MD, FACS, is President Emeritus of Intermountain Healthcare (President and CEO from January 2009 until October 2016), prior to that he served for eleven years as Intermountain’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Under Dr. Sorenson’s leadership, Intermountain Healthcare implemented a disciplined and system-wide focus on best clinical and operational practices aimed at producing measurably better outcomes for patients at sustainable costs.
