Will any part of the research study hurt you?
There is a chance that during this research study you could feel uncomfortable answering questions about your recent infections or your beliefs, opinions, or experiences with Monkeypox. All questions are optional and you many answer as many or few questions as you are comfortable answering.
Who will see the information about you?
We will not collect any identifiable information and we will not track any information about you including your IP address. While we will not collect any identifiable information, all responses to the survey will be securely stored in independent locations as secure, password-protected, encrypted files in order to ensure absolute minimal risk for identification.
Will the research study help you or anyone else?
There are no foreseeable risks or direct benefits to you. Researchers hope the study will better inform health care providers, hospitals, public health officials, and governments to better prepare for future public health emergencies.
