Course Description:
The Utah Stroke & Neuro-Rehabilitation Conference is sponsored by Intermountain Health and University of Utah for healthcare providers who care for those suffering stroke. The focus of this conference will be on interdisciplinary management of cerebrovascular disease as well as medical and scientific advances in technology and personalized care to improve medical and rehabilitation approaches to post-stroke treatment.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to
- Identify and discuss collaboration between hospitals and across disciplines over the continuum of stroke care,
- Discuss implementation of new research and techniques in clinical practice, and
- Identify and discuss advocacy efforts to improve stroke care throughout the region.

This program is offered for up to 1.30 ASHA CEUs (various levels, related area).
Utah Regional Stroke & Neuro-Rehabilitation Conference
Up to 1.30 ASHA CEUs are awarded to those that meet eligibility criteria by the ASHA CE Registry upon receipt of the submission of CEU participation information provided at check-in for the conference. The ASHA CE Registry is a computerized data base that awards CEUs on behalf of ASHA's Continuing Education Board. Participants pay an annual fee to use the ASHA CE Registry. To qualify for full ASHA CEU credit for this course, registrants are required to submit their participation materials within 2 weeks of completion of the conference to Julie Barkmeier-Kraemer (JulieB.Kraemer@hsc.utah.edu).
A certificate of completion of the course is available upon completion of this course for all registrants regardless of need for ASHA CEUs.
