Lee S. Chung, MD, is an assistant professor of neurology at the University of Utah and director of the Telestroke Program, Neurology Clerkship, and Fourth Street Free Neurology Clinic. He completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and his medical degree from University of California, San Diego. He completed his adult neurology residency and vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Utah. He currently serves as faculty with the University of Utah and the VA National Telestroke Program, and his career focus is on medical education, stroke systems of care, and application of telemedicine to address disparities in neurological care across the region.

Steven C. Cramer, MD is a professor of neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he holds the Susan and David Wilstein Endowed Chair in Rehabilitation Medicine. He is also the director ofrResearch at California Rehabilitation Institute; co-PI of the NIH StrokeNet clinical trials network, associate editor at Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair, and a Section Editor at the journal Stroke.  He earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Investigation from Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on neural repair after central nervous system injury in humans, with an emphasis on stroke and on recovery of movement.

Steven Edgley, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor and current Director of the Stroke Rehabilitation Program at the University of Utah. He is involved with both clinical aspects of stroke rehabilitation and with research on new techniques and methods to promote and facilitate greater function after stroke. Dr. Edgley is the author of two books about stroke and stroke recovery that include his personal experiences. His aim is to promote greater functional independence in stroke patients throughout the clinical continuum of care and through the spectrum of disabilities of impairment related to stroke.

Janene Holmberg, PT, DPT, NCS has over 30 years of direct clinical patient care in the specialty field of vestibular and neurologic dizziness/balance problems. She lectures nationally and internationally with many leaders in this field. She was awarded Physical Therapist of the Year by the Utah Chapter of the APTA in 2001 and in 2014 received the Clinical Excellence in Neurology Award from the Neurology Section of the APTA. She is published in areas of BPPV including 2017 AAOHNS BPPV Clinical Practice Guideline Update, clinical updates on vestibular rehabilitation, and most recently in area of chronic dizziness secondary to functional/psychiatric disorders. In 2021, she was accepted into the International Barany Society for her contributions in the clinical science of vestibular rehabilitation. She is currently working as an Internal Process Control Coordinator for Intermountain Healthcare where she fosters best evidence care standardization, collaboration on quality improvement initiatives, clinical outcome research and professional development in addition to keeping a small clinical practice at the Intermountain Health’s Dizziness and Balance Rehab Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Paul D. Johnson, MD, is a vascular neurologist and medical director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Intermountain Medical Center. Sandeep Khot, MD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Washington. He completed medical school at Tulane University and residency with stroke fellowship at UW. His research is focused on the early diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea after stroke. He has led several research studies, including the Stroke and CPAP Outcome Studies (SCOUTS) trials evaluating an intensive CPAP adherence intervention initiated during inpatient stroke rehabilitation to improve functional stroke recovery.

Lisa Pabst, MD is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Neurology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She specializes in the care of children with stroke and other cerebrovascular disorders as well as neurocritical care. Her research efforts focus on effective implementation of hyperacute systems of care for infants and children presenting with acute stroke to improve long-term outcomes. She has additional interest in utilizing acute telehealth networks to increase rapid recognition and assessment of infants and children presenting in rural locations with neurologic emergencies.

Lindsay Pugmire, MSPT has worked at the Neuro Specialty Rehab (IRF) at St George Regional Hospital for the past 19 years with 15 of those years as the therapy manager and currently a staff therapist. Born in Elko, Nevada and raised in Bountiful Utah, he attended Dixie College, graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, and attended Physical Therapy school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he graduated with a master’s degree in physical therapy. Lindsay has practiced physical therapy for 31 years and specialized in neurological rehabilitation.  He is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Jeffrey Rosenbluth, MD is an Associate Professor (Clinical) and the Assistant Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Medical Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Acute Rehabilitation program at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center as well as at South Davis Community Hospital for sub-acute and long-term acute Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) programs. He also oversees a large SCI-specific outpatient practice, which provides rehabilitative and primary-care services. In 2013, Dr. Rosenbluth received the Craig H. Jason Terry, DPT, NCS graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Southern California in 2002.  He worked in the Los Angeles area doing inpatient rehabilitation at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital for nearly two years. In December 2003, he returned home to Utah when he was hired as a staff therapist in the Outpatient Neuro Therapy clinic located at LDS Hospital. He served as a clinical supervisor for this clinic from 2005 until 2017. He has been the Director of Outpatient Neuro Therapy for Intermountain Health since 2017. He has a Specialist Certification in Neurology (NCS) awarded by the ABPTS in 2006.  He has been involved in the community at the state level as a board member with the UPTA, has sat on many committees and teams to further the reach of his profession, was involved in the creation of the Physical Therapy Neuro Residency Program at the University of Utah, and has instructed internationally classes on wheelchair evaluation and fitting.

Monica Verduzco-Gutierrez, MD is an accomplished academic Physiatrist and Professor and Chair of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. She previously was the Medical Director of the Brain Injury and Stroke Program at a top three US News and World Report Best Hospital for Rehabilitation. She relocated to San Antonio to lead the distinguished Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in 2020. Her area of clinical expertise is the care of patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, and interventional spasticity management. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed a Post-COVID Recovery Clinic to aid in the rehabilitative recovery of patients with functional, mobility, and cognitive deficits after infection with coronavirus.
