What are your hobbies? Cycling (road and fixed gear), hiking, skiing, diving, cooking,and working with metal and stone.
What is your favorite meal/dessert? Seafood and pasta.
What are one or two things you want to learn to do? Be a better skier, and perhaps learn a second language.
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? A smile from my wife or a Skype call with my daughter and grandchildren in Scotland
What song always gets you out on the dance floor? That’s a difficult question, but something on the slow side.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you? Cycled End2End (Land’s End to John O’Groats) in the UK.
Name one thing on your bucket list. More travel to exotic places.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I was always interested in biology and physiology and took a longer path to neurology.
What is the best concert you’ve ever attended? Mostly classical music concerts: Yo-Yo Ma playing Bach’s “Partitas.”
What is your favorite thing about your career? Always learning something or better understanding and interacting with patients as people.
