New Appointment: Member of Our Epilepsy Division Has Been Elected to National Advisory Board
Angela Peters, MD, an assistant professor in our Epilepsy Division, has been elected to the Epilepsy Foundation’s National Professional Advisory Board for a four-year term.
"I am excited to support our Epilepsy Division’s mission of serving epilepsy patients not just across Utah but across the nation with this appointment to the Epilepsy Foundation's National Professional Advisory Board and in my position of vice chair of the Epilepsy Foundation of Utah locally. The Professional Advisory Board (PAB) is composed of epilepsy experts across a wide range of medical disciplines.
The PAB provides strategic and creative direction across the Epilepsy Foundation's portfolio of programs, services, and initiatives. The PAB also provides expert advice and advocacy support for mission-focused state and federal issues involving people with epilepsy, including access to care and regulatory concerns. I look forward to be able to advocate for my patients on a state and national platform."
