"The Medical Field Is Not This Advanced Yet; He Is Beyond Help": The Story of Cammdon, a Child with Epileptic Encephalopathy

Cammdon

Hailey McLean, one of the University of Utah School of Medicine's third-year medical students, and several of our pediatric neurology colleagues have published a compelling narrative of Cammdon's strenuous medical journey.

Cammdon, a three-year-old boy, was hospitalized with a seemingly inexplicable sickness. Hailey interviewed parents and numerous members of the health-care team to retell the story of his journey and a miraculous diagnosis that came from pushing the boundaries of modern medicine.
