What are your hobbies?
Reading, listening to podcasts, and practicing yoga.
 
What is your favorite meal/dessert?
I've been on an Italian kick lately, so right now it would be a homemade lasagna with tiramisu for dessert.
 
What are one or two things you want to learn to do?
One or two new languages . . . coding languages.
 
What is one thing that can instantly make your day better?
A kind word from friends or family.

Name one thing on your bucket list.
A space walk.
 
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A detective or a doctor, so I became a neuroscientist.
 
What is the best concert you’ve ever attended?
A concert at a Mediterranean beach amphitheater. Core memory.
 
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I get to unleash my curiosity and explore the unknown.

What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
Songs from my teen years—90s “oldies.”
 
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I've been a bit of a trekkie since I was a kid.
