The Department of Neurosurgery is dedicated to the fundamental principles of human decency; we believe that differing viewpoints from all backgrounds strengthen the reach and vibrancy of our missions in clinical care, education, research, and service to our community.

We continually seek strategies to improve intolerance awareness in the field and advocate for increased representation and opportunity across all identities. We believe the future of our field depends on our ability to create and maintain a balanced workforce that reflects the communities in which we live and practice.
