About Me
I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, but moved to Chicago to attend Loyola University. While at Loyola, I studied molecular genetics and participated in epigenetics research. Following completion of my Masters, I worked in an auto-immunology lab at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. I returned to Wisconsin to attend medical school at the University of Wisconsin, where I combined my interests in molecular biology and immunology and studied tumor immunology. While I am excited to now be living in Salt Lake, I will always remain a die-hard Packers fan.
Medical Areas of Interest
My interests remain broad but I am particularly interested in Pediatric Neurosurgery, Neurosurgical Oncology, and neurosurgical applications of tumor immunology
Interests & Hobbies
Hiking, camping (I am on a mission to see all the National Parks), biking, fishing, baking (I make some mean macarons), playing ukulele, and cheese curds
Why Utah?
During my sub-I, here I was immediately impressed by the collaborative team environment and knew it was a team I wanted to be a part of. This, in addition to the breadth and depth of case variety, ample research opportunities as well as the awesome outdoors activities right at your doorstep, made it the perfect fit for me.
