AY25 GME Program Coordinator/Manager of the Year Award

Natasha Falero is the Program Coordinator/Manager of the Year Winner for AY25!

Each year the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Program Coordinator/Manager Advocacy Committee (PCMAC) award one GME Program Coordinator or Manager with an award of excellence. The winner of this prestigious award goes above and beyond for the GME community. 

The PCMAC and GME are pleased to announce that this year the peer-selected winner of the Program Coordinator/Manager award of excellence goes to Natasha Falero of the Pediatrics program!

  • Tasha consistently demonstrates an unwavering commitment to quality in every aspect of our program. Even when she is tired and overwhelmed, she never loses her cool. With her quick wit and exceptional organizational skills, she has successfully coordinated her program flawlessly. Tasha meticulously ensures that all documentation and data are accurate and submitted on time. Her attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards significantly benefits our program. 
  • Since June 23rd, 2023, Tasha has singlehandedly managed the Pediatric Residency program, overseeing 110 residents with a smile on her face and impeccable style. Despite the additional burden, she seamlessly handled her regular duties while taking on extra tasks. Her proactive approach and willingness to step up have been invaluable to our program's success. Tasha is always willing to lend a helping hand and offer advice. Whenever we’ve approached her for help or just to talk something through, she has always made the time to assist us. Tasha is known for her great attitude and supportive nature. She fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment, consistently uplifting her co-workers, trainees, and program leadership. In the face of staff shortages, Tasha remained calm and encouraging, motivating everyone to stay focused and perform their best. Her ability to maintain a positive demeanor even under pressure has earned her the respect and admiration of the entire team. 
  • Tasha Falero is an incredibly dedicated program coordinator and a steward of work-life balance. She helps us maintain that balance and provides a different perspective on our workload, helping us prioritize what is truly urgent and what can wait until tomorrow. Tasha's dedication, initiative, and positive attitude make her an exemplary candidate for the AY25 Program Coordinator/Manager of the Year Award. Her contributions have significantly enriched our program and the broader GME community. Tasha’s unwavering commitment to excellence and her ability to inspire others sets her apart as a truly outstanding member of our team.
