New GME Director of Educational Development

Allison Beaulieu, MD, MAEd named GME Director of Educational Development

Allison Beaulieu, MD MAEd, Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director, has stepped into the role of Director of GME Educational Development. She completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts and a Medical Education Fellowship with master’s in Biomedical Education at The Ohio State University.  She is passionate about expanding the medical education excellence of all GME Programs through didactic innovation, curriculum development, mentorship, and professional development.

We want to specially thank Dr. Kathleen Timme, Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Director, who served in the Director of Educational Development role for the past five years. During her tenure, Dr. Timme created a Resident-As-Teacher Curriculum, Teaching in Medicine Podcast, and led numerous didactics and events for faculty and residents. We are incredibly grateful for her service to GME and wish her continued success in her new leadership role.
