Panel Q&A for Cultural and Community Recruitment
The Office of Academic Culture and Community (OACC) and the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) warmly welcome prospective trainees from all backgrounds who are interested in applying for residency or fellowship at the University of Utah Health. We invite you to join us for a series of three informative and engaging virtual sessions with current trainees and faculty members from different specialties:
- Trainee Panel: Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 6:00 - 7:30 PM MDT
- Faculty Panel: Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 6:00 - 7:30 PM MST
- Trainee Panel: Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 6:00 - 7:30 PM MST
An informal social and Q&A with current trainees and faculty members from various backgrounds and communities who will share their experiences and provide insight into what training and working at the University of Utah Health and its communities is like.
These sessions are optional and will not impact the consideration of your application for residency or fellowship.
Newly Relocated Residents & Fellows
OACC has compiled a resource guide for newly relocated trainees to Utah to help their transition to training easier. It includes a compiled list of different food establishments, outdoor activities, annual events, small businesses, and more located in Salt Lake and greater Utah areas.
