    My medical interests in ophthalmology include complex anterior segment and cataract surgery. I have particular interest in global health and capacity building, and in the future, hope to contribute to the development of sustainable eye care programs in low-resource countries.

    Interests & Hobbies

    When not at the Moran Eye Center, I enjoy sports, playing chess, and reading history. As a new Utahn, I am learning to explore and take advantage of the scenery and outdoor activities this beautiful state has to offer.

    Why Utah?

    In choosing an ophthalmology residency, most important to me was finding a training program that would support me helping me become the best version of myself, both personally and professionally. Certainly, the clinical and surgical training at Utah is one of the best in the country, however, what makes Moran special is the people you interact with on a daily basis. From staff to faculty to residents, it's filled with kind and genuine people who provide support and push you towards excellence.
