About Me
Dr. Allison Haas is originally from Jasper, Indiana. In 2017, she received her Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. She then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to obtain her PhD in microbiology and immunology from the University of Pittsburgh. Her thesis work investigated Pseudomonas aeruginosa pathogenesis during respiratory viral co-infection in cystic fibrosis patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and bulldog and loves being outdoors, traveling, and baking. After living in the Midwest her whole life, Allison is excited to explore the beautiful state of Utah and all of the nearby National Parks.
