About Me
Dr. Cheryl Mathis grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, with a BA in Chemistry. Cheryl earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Utah, and has further specialized in both Medicinal Chemistry and Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology. Cheryl's research interests include integrating tools from pharmacology and clinical chemistry to detect and monitor drug toxicity. Outside of work, Cheryl is a volunteer at Red Butte Garden and an avid reader.
