Hailing from Clinton, Indiana, Dr. Eric Smith received his bachelors of science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. From there, he studied the role of DEK in DNA repair and oropharyngeal cancer as part of his MD/PhD training at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He and his wife are excited to explore Utah, and are looking forward to the opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, canoeing, and skiing.
