About Me
Dr. John Brennan was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in southeastern Wisconsin. He went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison for undergrad, and then the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee for medical school before heading to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill for pathology residency. He is interested in all aspects of molecular pathology with special emphasis on acute myeloid leukemia, solid tumor molecular pathology, molecular microbiology, population genetics, and improving technology and workflows. Outside of work, he enjoys drawing, movies, technology, sports (Go Badgers!), and hanging out with his rescue pup Frankie. He is excited to explore Utah’s great outdoors as well as local coffee shops and cideries.
