About Me
Dr. Julie Lander was born in Alberta, Canada, and grew up in Texas. She completed her PhD in Molecular and Developmental Biology at the University of Cincinnati in 2017, and her MD also from Cincinnati in 2019. Most recently, she completed a combined residency in Pediatrics and Human Genetics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in 2023. Julie is interested in using genomics and gene therapy to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of inborn errors of metabolism. Outside of work, Julie enjoys hiking, musicals, and her niece and nephews. She is looking forward to exploring the diverse outdoor recreation activities available in the Utah mountains.
