Hello, I am Utahn born and raised, lived mostly around the Davis county area and now in Layton. I started my education journey with my generals, planning for the nursing program at Weber State, but decided the botany program was more for me. I received my Bachelors in Botany, and a lab tech degree in chemistry. I have been working a lab job at a nutraceutical company for two years now doing PCR, TLC, FTIR and microbiology lab tests. In that time my love for plants and plant-based medicine grew and I decided I wanted to further that side of my education. The next step would be lab-based medicine. I plan on seeking a future career in toxicology, and hopefully do some plant-based medicine research for toxic plants on the side. In my free time I enjoy my large garden, cooking home grown veggies, family time, and video games.
