Coordinated Expert Brain Injury Care

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at University of Utah Health offers a one-year ACGME accredited fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine. 

The fellowship is a 12-month program that offers specialized training in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries and related conditions.  

The fellow will rotate through a variety of practice settings including University of Utah Health, Primary Children’s Hospital, and the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital.

Rehabilitation Hospital

A state-of-the-art freestanding Rehabilitation Hospital; located on the campus in near proximity to the main hospital complex.  The Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital is a 150,000 square foot advanced facility, which will be a restorative and healing environment designed to speed recovery and improve quality of life for patients after they return home.
