FELLOWSHIP ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION
The Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship is open to physicians (US citizen or work eligible) who have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Successful completion of the fellowship program satisfies the eligibility requirement to take the Brain Injury Medicine Certification Examination.
All fellowship position openings are offered through the NRMP (National Resident Matching Program). All application materials must be submitted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service).
APPLY
ERAS will begin accepting applications on July 3rd. Our program will be begin reviewing applications on July 17th. Early submission of application materials is encouraged. The deadline for complete applications is October 1st.
Applicants are required to submit the following:
- CV
- Personal Statement
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- Professional Photo
- USMLE and/or COMLEX transcripts
Salary & Benefits
The fellows are hired as a PGY-5 housestaff officer. The salary for the fellows is at the PGY-5 level. The benefits are the same as for all house staff at the university. An additional stipend is provided for educational expenses. Three weeks of vacation plus one additional week of academic leave are allowed.
