Why Utah?
The University of Utah stood out as a perfect fit to continue my clinical training in child and adolescent psychiatry for several reasons. First, I was looking for a program with a commitment to research and the flexibility, mentorship, commitment, and resources to allow significant research to continue throughout the fellowship. Second, I was looking for a program that had sufficient size and faculty that had broad interests to provide a strong and diverse clinical training experience. Third, I was looking for a place with a reasonable cost of living, good schools, and a supportive environment to continue to raise my three children. Utah has met and exceeded all of my expectations!
