Why Utah?
I was born and raised in Utah. I lived all over the country for work for a few years and knew that Utah is where my wife and I wanted to live long term. After rotating through different program domains during medical school, I knew that Utah would be our number one choice! The faculty members are great, the residents seemed to have built a fantastic culture, and there are many opportunities for residents to explore personal interests within psychiatry. On top of all of that, you really can’t beat the location!
