    I love traveling, especially to national parks and to scuba dive. I enjoy board games, skiing, kayaking, ultimate frisbee, spike ball, gaming, watching the Packers and soccer. I love cerebral movies/shows/podcasts. Most of all, I love being a husband and father.

    Why Utah?

    There are so many reasons why I chose Utah. However, my particular interest was in the rural Idaho track. I am from Southeast Idaho and always envisioned myself returning there to practice. Besides being my home, it is also an area that has a significant shortage in psychiatrists, and I feel drawn to serving the community that once served me. Additionally, it was also important for me to train somewhere that would enable me to become an expert in my field. Utah is known for having excellent and caring faculty with all the resources needed for me to accomplish this goal. The stunning outdoor opportunities are just the cherry on top.
