Why Utah?
I fell in love with psychiatry my third year of medical school at the University of Utah. I saw as a medical student what a caring and well-rounded training program they had to offer. When I found out about the Rural Idaho Track, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect fit. This new program gave me an opportunity to train with amazing psychiatrists and facilities at a university program and train in a rural setting an hour and a half away from my hometown. I’m so excited to be part of a program bringing psychiatric care to Utah and Idaho.
