Why Utah?
I was looking for a program that put resident education and clinical experience first. I got the sense from my interview that the people here were happy and excited to be practicing psychiatry. Utah was academically challenging but not repressive. I'm big into outdoor activities and SLC is surrounded by opportunities to get outside. I am so happy that I ended up here.
