Why Utah?
Honestly, applying for Triple Board, I knew that I was going to end up somewhere that I probably knew I wouldn't move to under normal circumstances, so my decision was based on solely how I felt about the program. For me, the X+Y schedule for Pediatrics was a huge draw because I love outpatient medicine. I also felt more comfortable during the TB social than I did all interview season. Additionally, as you have probably heard many times, there is so much variety in the patient population and diagnoses that we see due to the large area that we serve.
