Why Utah?
As a native Utahn, I’ve known for my entire life all that Utah has to offer. The beauty of the mountains, the vibrancy of the arts scene, and the presence of elite institutes of higher learning are among the many reasons that I wanted to return home after time away for medical school and residency. Beyond these characteristics of Salt Lake City itself, the fellowship is top-notch. I could see from my interview that the community of psychiatrists in the program are dedicated to both teaching and patient care. They truly care about helping the fellows foster their own personal interests to develop into the best versions of themselves.
