Why Utah?
Utah is close to home which means I get to see my family frequently and it also means I occasionally get to care for patients from my home state, Wyoming! I enjoy the outdoors and Salt Lake has tons of recreation options near by. Also, the program supports my interests by having opportunities to work with underserved populations, participate in collaborative care with physicians in different specialties, and have access to interventional psychiatry training!
