    Interests & Hobbies

    I moved around a lot as a child, so home is where my family is. I enjoy movies with overly buttered popcorn, playing basketball, getting dominated by my daughters in sword/nerf gun battles, and have been known to obsessively play video games. My favorite food is Taco Bell which my wife and I enjoy each year on our anniversary. However, on a recent vacation to Disneyland, the churros on main street became a legitimate contender.

    Why Utah?

    I was attracted to Utah’s program because of the supportive, collegial environment which prioritizes clinical excellence and patient care. It is a privilege to join faculty, staff, and residents that I greatly admire for their vast clinical knowledge and expertise, which they willingly share. Additionally, the incredible facilities, protected didactic time, and a stabile support system for my wife and 3 daughters all combined to make Utah irresistible. Go Utes!
