I was looking for a place that can offer well-rounded training and resources to conduct innovative, cutting-edge research that can help improve the field of psychiatry. The interview convinced me that this is a place full of intelligent and open-minded people that would help me become the best psychiatrist and scientist I could be. All the residents and faculty members were extremely welcoming and gave me a sense of true teamwork. From day one I felt that we all work together to maximize the well-being and health of our patients. And the beautiful nature surrounding SLC is a lovely bonus that reflects the program’s holistic approach to training and patient care.
