Why Utah?
After completing residency on the East Coast it was a goal of mine to move back West. I had to balance the desire to move further West with finding a Fellowship that would fit my family and academic needs. I chose Utah because of the diverse training opportunities through large hospital systems. Salt Lake is the perfect balance of big and small city. Rent is affordable, my commute is 15 minutes max, and there are outdoor activities for every interest.
