About Me
Martin was awarded his PhD from Rutgers University in 2001. His research focuses on mathematical and statistical problems related to functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), and he has worked in the field for almost 20 years. Over his career, he has developed a strong interest in education. He sees teaching as an important step in helping students navigate an increasingly quantitative world. He dedicates a portion of his time trying to teach good statistical practice within the neuroimaging community. Martin will be your lecturer for the multi-modal/imaging-genetics portion of the course.
