Dr. Rex Force graduated from Oregon State University in Pharmacy, with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then complete clinical research fellowship at Ohio State University before joining the faculty at Idaho State University in 1993. Since joining the ISU faculty he has held many roles including: associate dean for clinical research in the Division of Health Sciences, director of the Idaho Center for Health Research and the Family Medicine Clinical Research Center at ISU. He helped develop the telepharmacy program at ISU. Throughout his tenure he has been an advocate for health education and rural health issues in Idaho and which role he has also maintained in his support of the University of Utah Idaho Rural Track.
