About Me

Rick was awarded his PhD from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2015. He uses computational modeling and network analysis to represent and analyze human and non-human biological neural networks. His work draws heavily on quantitative approaches from complex systems science, including mathematics, e.g. graph theory, control theory, dynamical systems, as well as modern data science, e.g. machine learning and pattern recognition. Rick will be your lecturer for the network science and connectomics portion of the course.
