About Me
Background: Ryan Olson is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah. Originally from Spokane, Washington, he moved to Salt Lake City to pursue his undergraduate degree in biochemistry (expected May 2026, University of Utah). Before joining the research team, Ryan gained four years of clinical experience—two as a medical assistant and two as an operating room orderly—where he developed a strong interest in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine.
Responsibilities: Ryan supports the department’s ongoing clinical studies, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and data collection for the INFORM trial. He contributes to maintaining study integrity and advancing the department’s mission to improve perioperative patient care through research.
